The Heavenly Demon of Terror

Chapter 4: Saving Samuel’s Sister

As I left the banquet, I hailed a cab and directed the driver to Bardot Hospital.

My fists clenched with anger as memories of Samuel's past flooded my mind. "Samuel had a sister named Kayla, and she was suffering from a Cardiac disease."

The pain of the past was unbearable. "That bitch," I muttered to myself.

Samuel had begged Abigail for the money to save Kayla, his younger sister who was only five years old. But what did Abigail do? She used every penny for Joshua's accessories, leaving Kayla to die in agony. Samuel had tried, desperately, to save her, but Abigail's selfishness had sealed the child's fate.

I could feel the heat of rage building inside me. "I won't let her get away with this."

This time, I would save Kayla. I would make sure that little girl was taken out of this country and away from the clutches of Abigail. She didn't deserve to be stuck in a place where this woman could continue destroying lives.

As the cab sped toward the hospital, I thought about everything Abigail had done to Samuel—the cruelty, the manipulation, all of it.

She had torn him apart for no reason other than her own selfishness, and now it was time to make her pay for what she had done.

As I walked into Kayla's hospital room, I gazed at her fragile form. A small tear slipped from my eye as I whispered, "That woman... just how many lives has she ruined for her pride and ego?"
