Chapter 157: Right thing to do
Xavier slowly started to realize everything after the mention of the gem.
"Is that how father was trying to bring uncle Henrick back to life?" He asked with uncertainty, "By using the ’Sapphire of wish’?"
Michael felt confused by his question, "Didn’t your father say that to you?"
He wasn’t able to understand the fox king. Lexi knew about the gem but his successor didn’t know? Xavier is the only son the fox king has sired and the prince of this tribe but Michael noticed how ignorant Xavier is about so many important things.
"What do you know about the gem?" Michael asked curiously. He wanted to know about Xavier’s knowledge regarding this matter before explaining everything.
Xavier could understand Michael’s skeptical gaze. The fox king didn’t even recognize him as a living being much less train him as a successor. The things he learned were either from tribe elders or by himself.
"I know that gem belonged to the eagle tribe and grandfather tried to seize it from them" that’s it, he didn’t know anything more about the gem or how it was related to his grandfather and uncle’s death.
Michael stared at Xavier in disbelief. He didn’t know whether to laugh or cry after hearing the prince’s words.
"Your highness....you really don’t know anything do you?"
