Chapter 158: Crazy love
Xavier didn’t even flinch at Michael’s shouting but his eyes started to gleam dangerously.
Michael fell to his knees and looked at Xavier with terror-filled eyes. He just realized his mistake.....that he should have never done.
"Ple-please..." He pleaded. Michael was scared about dying more than anything else. He could tolerate getting beaten down to his bones but not death. Death means the end of everything. He wouldn’t be able to see his beloved anymore if he met his demise.
Amidst his pleading, a small figure dashed inside the room and kneeled in front of Xavier.
"Brother please....."
Michael looked up at the familiar voice and felt his heart swell.
"Go out from here Lexi," Xavier said while frowning. Females staying in ice-induced rooms can get dangerous for them. No matter what, Lexi always treated him with regard and he didn’t want this person to die.
Lexi shook her head stubbornly and looked up at him with tear-filled eyes, "Forgive him this once. I-i will ask him to follow your orders and I promise that he will never defy you ever again"
Michael struggled to crawl towards her. Then he hugged her to keep her warm, "I will be alright Lexi, Please leave from here" He didn’t know whether to feel happy or sad about this situation. His beloved was caring about him for the first time in his life and this almost felt like a dream rather than a reality.
