Chapter 155: Xavier
Noah looked at his father in confusion. He wasn’t able to grasp what his father was thinking.
’The female they choose?’ He didn’t know why, but the first one to come to his mind was his mate. Noah felt uncomfortable just by the mere thought of that. If that was really the case, then he wouldn’t mind going against his father for the first time in his life. He could never let someone force an opinion on his precious mate.
"What do you mean by that?" Even the elders were flustered by the condition. Prince Xavier killed a female because he didn’t like her but she forced him to accept her as his mate. Hearing the lion king’s words, they felt an incoming headache. Anything but that! All of the elders had the same thing in their minds.
Amidst the inner turmoil within everyone gathered in the room, the lion king was calm. He steadily looked at each one of them and opened his mouth, "You heard it right the first time. The condition that prince Xavier has to complete after coming to the beast city is becoming mates with the female we choose"
"And who is that female, father?" He turned towards the urging voice of his son and smiled.
"You and Lucas know her too, son" his words made both of them frown.
"Uncle! Father!" Two male voices laced with threats underlying were heard inside the room.
Lucas understood it now. He turned toward his father in inquiry and noticed that even the silver wolf king had a relaxed expression. He felt irked by just seeing that. He wouldn’t be able to control his anger if his doubt really came true.
The elders still looked clueless, "Who is the female that you are talking about your majesty?"
