Chapter 154: Condition
Victor grinned at them and leisurely walked toward them. He firstly glanced at Kyrell and his smile became strained. He still remembered this eagle beastman trapping him in that forest. Then he looked at the unfamiliar face and frowned realizing that the stranger is a rootless beastman.
"What are you two doing here?" He asked sternly. Victor knew that Killian always made sure to put on a barrier around the castle to keep intruders away. Even they felt uncomfortable a few times while trying to cross the barrier. But after sensing the familiarity, Kenna allowed them inside. But what about these two?
He knew that Kyrell was someone powerful and him deflecting the barrier somewhat made sense but he couldn’t understand how a rootless beastman got inside.
As Victor assessed Kaizer, Kaizer too started to observe him. An immortal beastman. Kaizer was able to discern that the stranger is a higher-level beastman with a single glance but even this beastman was not as handsome as him.
Kaizer started having this delusion when Lyra said that his eyes are pretty. If not for falling on the ground that day, he would have had the courage to face her with the pretty eyes that she liked.
Victor didn’t want to cause an unnecessary commotion by forcing them out of here but those two looked like they had no intention of going out. He understood about Kyrell but for heck’s sake, he didn’t understand why a rootless beastman was here.
"I’ll leave" Kaizer suddenly said surprising the other two. He felt sad for not seeing her but he realized that leaving now was the best rather than causing a commotion. Kaizer was positive that he would once again embarrass himself in front of her if he stayed here any longer.
He turned into his beast form and sprinted out of the garden.
Victor turned toward Kyrell and asked, "What about you?"
