Beauty in the beast world

Kaizer stood dumbfounded hearing her words. ’What is wrong with her?’ He couldn’t comprehend if she is either brave.....or naive.

Unbeknownst to the big bad wolf’s inner turmoil, Lyra continued to remove the moist soil around his limbs using a stick and after a few minutes, she finally succeed, "Ah....done!"

Then she looked up at him with her sparkling blue eyes, "Try moving now"

Kaizer came out of his thoughts and took a step forward and Lyra beamed like a mother who saw her child walking for the first time.

He felt both bewildered and embarrassed by her vivid expressions and slowly walked out of the rose bushes.

Lyra looked at the giant wolf beside her and closed her eyes. He had some small injuries on his body due to the thorns so she decided to heal him. The possibility of the wolf being a beastman never crossed her mind because she thought that the beastman could have easily come out of that thorn-filled bushes by shifting to his human form.

So she thought that he is just a wild wolf who is docile and calm.

After healing him, she opened her eyes and smiled at him. His stunning amethyst eyes caught her attention, "Your eyes are pretty"

Kaizer blinked his beautiful big eyes at her compliment. It was the first time for someone to like his eyes rather than getting scared and he felt pleased that the one to like his eyes was his bunny.

He roamed his eyes on her and noticed small bloodied scratches on her arms. Kaizer felt his heart clench seeing her injury. ’Why are you not healing your wounds?’ He wanted to ask this but he was not able to do that in his beast form.

Feeling frustrated, he went towards her and nudged her hand.
