Chapter 139: Obsession
"Something is worrying you?" Lyra asked and it felt more like an assertion rather than a question. She could feel his distress and decided to ask him. Her mates were too secretive for their good and it sometimes made Lyra sad. On the other hand, she did not keep secrets and always shared with them because she was too bad at keeping secrets.
Killian too felt bad for not telling her everything but sometimes it was for her own good. In the beginning, he was very against keeping secrets and even scolded others for doing that but now after becoming her mate, it made sense to not stress her anymore by saying unnecessary things.
"Did you meet someone a while ago?" Came his question and she frowned, "A black wolf was trapped inside the rose bushes and I helped him out of there"
"A wolf?" Killain nodded. He now confirmed that the power encircling her must have been that wolf’s.
"I think he is an ordinary Wolf," She said and Killian chuckled, "He is a beastman, love"
Lyra’s eyes went wide. She pulled away from him and stared at him, "No way" then why was he not able to get out from the bush by himself if he is a beastman? She looked up to Killian with confusion and he understood her.
"I can sense that he is a beastman, and a very powerful one at that" Lyra closed her eyes in misery at Killian’s certainty.
Then another thought came to her mind making her even more dreadful. ’Did I hug and laugh at a beastman?’ Lyra even felt that the wolf liked her and by Killian’s words, she realized that he is a powerful individual. Lyra wanted to cry, why was she always getting entangled with males?
She loves her mates.....but she has to admit that it is also troublesome receiving affection from all of them. They are too passionate and always wanted attention from her. It was alright for a certain level, but it was tiring for her.
Sighing tiredly, She entered the castle together with Killian. Lyra decided to not go out of her room anymore after this. The males in this world were too intense that she was overwhelmed.
As soon as they entered, She noticed Blake coming out of his room with his little ones following him.
