Chapter 132: Is it possible?
"Someone who can manifest darkness?" Killian mused to himself and thought hard about it but nothing came to his mind.
"Does someone even have that power in the beast world?" Killian asked in confusion. Black Panthers were known to wield fire but it was only when they attained enough strength to control it. Controlling Kenna was not easy for him at first, he had to train for countless days for him to completely get accepted.
In this matter, he had to admit that Kyrell was more powerful than him. That bird wielded light attribute without any medium in between. But darkness was completely different, it was not pure energy like light but the opposite of it. Fiddling with darkness might sometimes swallow the wielder. Killian didn’t think that anyone in the beast world would be able to control darkness, "Darkness is very dangerous to wield Darcio. I don’t think anyone can control it in the beast world"
"There is always a rare possibility my, Lord" Darcio said seriously, "We never know about the things we have not yet witnessed" that was also true because there might be someone with that attribute but they just didn’t know about it.
Killain nodded, then another important thing flashed in his mind, "What can someone with darkness attribute perform? How can we recognize them if we meet one?"
Darcio thought about it and started explaining as much as he knew, "I heard this from my tribe’s elder when I was young. Someone with darkness as their attribute can create illusions against their opponents. He also mentioned that the illusions will be based on the opponent’s biggest fear. In simple words, the darkness wielder will attack and weaken his enemies mentally before physically fighting them"
Killian couldn’t connect the dots because he didn’t know about Blake getting under the illusion on the battlefield. Kyell released his power to break the illusion before Killian reached the snake tribe. Both Killian and Kyrell didn’t know about the illusion but Blake who experienced it that day was not here to confirm.
"Then what about a shadow creature? Is that also created by darkness" he asked this because he wanted to confirm if that rootless beastman was the one with the darkness attribute. Killian couldn’t take out that possibility because that black wolf was also an immortal beastman and they had not yet found the last one from the gem’s prophecy.
"Shadow creature?" Darcio asked in confusion, "I have never seen something like that my lord"
