Chapter 69
"I'll visit the hotel from time to time."
With his phone pressed to his ear, Tae-seo kept his eyes on Kang Se-heon. After finishing their meal, Se-heon had cooled the rooibos tea and placed a cup in front of each of them before taking out his phone. Right on cue, his phone vibrated, and after checking the caller ID, Se-heon stood up.
Tae-seo watched as he signaled that he would be stepping out to take the call. His movements were relaxed yet purposeful—always composed, always unhurried. That ease could make it seem like he was indifferent, but in reality, Se-heon was incredibly observant.
'There’s nothing about me that he doesn’t know.'
Tae-seo absentmindedly grasped his glass with his free hand. Condensation had formed on the outside, making it look refreshingly cold. Earlier, the same tea had been steaming hot, but now it was cool. He didn’t even have to ask—Se-heon had deliberately done that, knowing it was good for pregnant Omegas.
His gaze shifted toward Se-heon’s cup.
‘He’s not even drinking coffee anymore.’
Tae-seo had stopped drinking coffee because of his pregnancy, but Se-heon had no such restrictions. And yet, at some point, he had started drinking the same things as Tae-seo or choosing different types of tea instead.
'Observant, considerate...'
Sometimes, Se-heon even noticed things Tae-seo himself hadn’t thought of. He was reliable. So much so that it was hard to find any faults in him.
Leaning against the sofa, Tae-seo rested on his left side and openly watched Se-heon. As he listened to him speak in a low voice, he briefly considered trying to guess who he was talking to—but then he abruptly remembered that he was on a call himself.
"Ah—no, no, she’s treating me well."
