Chapter 68
“Is it really that hard to just say, ‘Let’s live together’? Why did you suddenly go from being my boyfriend to my guardian...?”
At Tae-seo’s complaint, Kang Se-heon’s lips twitched slightly.
“You said you’d confess as much as I wanted once I woke up, but all you did was sneak me into your house. You’re seriously shady.”
Tae-seo warily entered his school’s homepage ID and password. His fingers barely moved on the keyboard, making it obvious that he was being conscious of Se-heon’s presence.
“Don’t try to figure out my password by watching my hands.”
“I wasn’t planning to. Just check your grades.”
“Why do you...?”
He swallowed the rest of his words. Was Se-heon really keeping track of when grades were released? Even he himself barely remembered the date, so how did Se-heon know?
Seeing the expression on Tae-seo’s face, which betrayed all his thoughts, Se-heon lifted his mug. Instead of coffee, he had made tea—he called it rooibos tea.
“Drink while you check.”
Se-heon looked completely unbothered, acting as if there was no urgency at all. But for Tae-seo, this was anything but a relaxed situation.
He rubbed his cold fingertips together, trying to warm them up, before wrapping both hands around the mug like a hand warmer. He hadn’t taken the midterms, but the finals had been all his own effort. Since he was in his senior year, he’d worried about whether he still retained enough prior knowledge, but it turned out studying wasn’t as difficult as he’d feared. That gave him a bit of hope.
