Chapter 702. Guild Member.
Kailen followed the duo through several streets. He noticed towering skyscrapers which stretched as far as the eyes could see. Strangely, this place had a medieval yet futuristic vibe, as the grounds were cobblestoned. Some fellows were clad in modern-looking clothes like what he was wearing, whereas others were wearing robes and medieval-looking clothes. It was a rare sight.
As Kailen followed the two, they finally arrived before a skyscraper which didn’t really stand out. The duo entered the skyscraper. Kailen followed them.
There was a lobby on the ground floor. Somewhere across the large lobby, several holographic panels were floating. The holographic panels displayed a list of several missions. Several guild members were quietly contemplating which ones to choose. Kailen’s gaze left them. His gaze fell on the counter, where a female demi-human wearing a professional suit and skirt was seated.
Kailen went to the counter.
"Good day sir. Welcome to the DawnSeer Guild of Richtchard City of the Venzula Empire. How may I help you?" she asked professionally.
So this city is called Richtchard City, huh, and this empire is called Venzula Empire, Kailen thought. He replied, "Please, I would like to register as a guild member."
The woman’s eyes gleamed. "Really, follow me."
The woman left her seat and entered a room on the ground floor. Kailen followed. There was a large orb in the room.
"This is a principle comprehension orb. It measures one’s principle comprehension ability, which is divided into low, medium, and high. After that, the other orb over there will also check your transcendent level and your principle."
Kailen nodded. They were doing this to know and pay close attention to those with potential.
"My principle of space comprehension ability was naturally enhanced by The Will of the Universe when I was being made a transcendent. Perhaps it will be labeled as high" , Kailen thought.
He didn’t waste any more time. He approached the orb and touched it. The orb glowed with ethereal light. A holographic screen popped up out of the orb. There was a single word.

The receptionist could not believe what she was seeing. Someone with a high principle comprehension ability had really appeared in their guild? This meant that he had a bright future. The guild had to do all they could to nurture him. After this assessment, she had to send his information to the guild president as soon as possible.
After this, Kailen went to the other orb. He placed his hand on it. The orb glowed again. A holographic display popped out of the orb.

A card appeared out of thin air suddenly. It was hovering before Kailen. The card turned into a stream of light and entered Kailen’s forehead.
"Sir, that’s your guild membership card" The woman said "1000 gold coins have been deposited into it. It’s enough to get you a residence for now. You will be getting 1000 gold coins from the guild every month. You have been flagged as a guild member with high principal comprehension potential. This is why this kind of special treatment is being given to you.
However, if you want to have access to the principle fragments tower of the guild, I recommend you take on some serious missions. If you take on serious missions, you can get large amount of contribution points. If you are able to get on the premium ranking list of the guild after securing a certain number of contribution points, you can have access to the principal fragments tower of the guild. Taking on ordinary missions and completing them will earn you gold coins. But the contribution points you will earn from those missions cannot help you get on the guild’s premium ranking list. Only by taking on serious missions can you get on the premium ranking list, and be eligible to enter the principle fragments tower of the guild"
Kailen nodded to her words.
This was a very strategic system these people had set up. He thought.
"One last thing, you have obtained full citizenship of the Venzula Empire. Usually, one has to pay a high amount of gold coins to register as a citizen. However, the guild has made an exception and has used their connections to do this for you. Registering as a citizen is important because if a foreigner stays on the planet for more than 4 months, the empire’s rules dictate they be kicked out of the planet."
Kailen nodded. "This guild really knows how to foster amiable relationships with those deemed worth it. Saves me a lot of trouble though", Kailen thought.
He replied warmly, "Thank you."
The woman added with a nod that had shifted from professional to that of genuine respect, "We look forward to working with you, sir."
Kailen nodded calmly as he walked out of the hall. "Time to find a residence. After that, I can come and pick out a mission."
