Chapter 20: Demon King?
"Do you hear fighting?" Lucy asked Kai as they ran toward the cave entrance
"Yeah! Let’s hurry, something bad may be happening."
As they exited the cave, they saw their party engaged in a losing battle against a whole army of goblins, hobgoblins, and ogres.
The two of them wasted no time and jumped into action, aiding their party.
"Lucy! Kai! Boy, am I glad to see you two!" Josh said, sliding the legs of an ogre as Lucy fired an arrow through its head.
"Spohia, I got this, help the others." Kai placed a barrier around the people that protected them from harm.
"Thank you." She blasted a whole wave of monsters coming her way.
"Gah! Stupid human! Stupid dawrf! Stupid elf! Ruin plan! Ugly man gonna be upset! I kill all you!" The goblin lord raised his hand, and a purple fireball formed above it.
Lucy’s eyes almost left her face with how wide they got. "No way! That’s...that’s impossible!"
*BOOM*
The fireball crashed down on the earth, obliterating anything in its path, including its allies.
