Chapter 65: in Deep Trouble [2]
Jules’ pov
"I’m sorry." I choked out through my tears, heart feeling like it was about to burst out of my chest from the amount of fright that was currently gripping every inch of my body.
Xander who still hovered above me, threw his head back and dissolved into laughter, a dark, menacing one that made the fright in my insides increase even more.
"I do not need your apology, Jules. What I need are answers, so start speaking." He snarled, teeth bared and fangs gleaming, which made me flinch before coughing once again because he still had a grip around my throat.
If I had known this plan was gonna completely backfire on me, I certainly wouldn’t have attempt doing it, because now that I’ve been caught, it doesn’t seem like Xander was gonna be letting me out of here without getting some answers out of me, which I most definitely couldn’t reveal to him because it would jeopardize my entire cover and blow it up right in my face.
"I- I don’t know a- anything... I swear." I wheezed out, gasping for breath for the hundredth time. "I was j- just curious..."
"Shut the hell up! Lying to my face right now is only getting me angrier. I knew you didn’t have a fucking crush on me, I only played along from the onset. Start speaking right now, except you need me to fuck everything I need to hear right out of you." He growled out angrily and I flinched before bursting into another round of tears.
Someone please come save me.
I silently screamed in the void in my head.
The universe clearly loves seeing me suffer, because no one arrived to save me. Instead, Xander gripped my chin firmly with a hand and then he leaned down and slanted his mouth across mine, shoving his tongue into my mouth at once.
I felt myself screaming and retching as I bit down on his tongue without thinking. Next thing I knew, I was being slapped so hard, my eyesight swam for a few seconds.
