Chapter 64: In Deep Trouble
Jules’ pov
I shoved my hands into my pockets as I patiently waited for Xander to come get me.
From our last encounter, I got a hold of his number and minutes ago, I had put a text through to him. It was currently past noon, and I believe he shouldn’t be doing anything that important right now.
After leaving the dorm I shared with Blaze this morning, I had first of all spent some time with my friends, because it would have been very weird if I reached out to Xander over something like that in the morning. Of course, my friends had noticed that I haven’t been my usual self and they had asked me if I was okay a couple of times, and I kept reassuring them that I was fine.
The earlier I revealed the killers of my family to the world, the earlier I’d start feeling okay.
I had been standing here for over ten minutes while waiting for Xander to come get me. Spending time alone right now was only making me get a lot of second thoughts along with immense guilt, and I didn’t like that I was getting thoughts like that right now. I contemplated shooting another text to Xander just as he finally showed up, earbuds in and hair packed in a bun atop his head as he closed the distance between us to look me up and down.
"Why didn’t you wear something more appealing?" Was the first thing that left his mouth and I felt a scowl starting to form on my face, one which I shoved away as I cleared my throat.
"I’m more comfortable in something like this, sorry." I mumbled, watching as he rolled his eyes, looking very unimpressed.
"You could have worn something which would show off your curves, but let’s head to my room anyway so I can finally give you this cock." He echoed out and I felt my cheeks heat up a little as I nodded my head and fell into step beside him, being careful to keep some space between us.
