Chapter 102: Chat With Dacey
"It looks like you will become a millionaire within a few hours."
Dacey commented casually with a small smile when they both took a breather after indulging in their passions for a long time. They both were currently resting in her bed without any clothes on.
Dacey’s face looked flushed and she had a contended glow on her face that women usually have after sex. Looking at her face in the soft moonlight that filtered through the window, Rob felt his heart stir once again.
Rob put his arm around her and hugged her. Dacey snuggled in comfortably in Rob’s embrace and Rob gave her a small smile.
"You will have to thank Mr. Walker for coming up with this plan," Dacey stated looking up at his face and gently touching it. "Without him, you would have been cheated by your stock broker."
"You don’t understand that old fox," Rob snorted fondly. "He is helping me, as much as using me."
"What do you mean?" Dacey asked softly in confusion.
"While it is true that he has helped me with this deal, he also has ulterior motives. You see, he wants an unbiased opinion on Brent’s product. He wants to see if Brent’s product has some market. Brent, me, and even him are all too close to the product to give an unbiased opinion. So, he is using this opportunity to sound out potential customers," Rob explained softly planting a kiss on her forehead.
"Oh!" Dacey said in surprise.
"Yes, and if Flower Capital’s representatives were interested and changed the terms of the deal based on Brent’s product, then Mr. Walker will know that what Brent has on his hands will be sellable."
"This way, he could invest in Brent’s business with more confidence. Even if he wants to find an investor, isn’t Flower Capital readily available now?" Rob chuckled causing Dacey’s eyes to widen.
"I never thought about it this way," she said sounding both a little surprised and impressed with Mr. Walker’s way of conducting things.
