"What happened, Muyang tell us already." Old madam Jun was so curious that she wanted to throttle him to get the answers out of his closed mouth.
When they returned, Chi-Chi was furious and she said she wanted to leave and yet none of the two had explained the matter accurately as of yet.
"Grandmother, these people set out to deliberately swindle us. The real painting was being handed off to one Yan Feng when we entered the room. And his weird sister did not stop drooling over Muyang like a dog looking at a fatty meat bone. I am so angry; if I stay here any longer I may end up doing something regrettable."
"Daya is here." Old madam Jun said in surprise.
To Chi Lian’s ears, the way the old madam said that name, it sounded suspiciously too familiar on her tongue, for one, she did not use her first name but referred to her only by ’Daya.
Chi Lian glared at Muyang who was holding her hand and staring at her innocently like a lost little lamb.
"Grandmother, do you know that Yan Daya personally?" she asked curiously.
The old madam answered with a small unhappy frown, "Muyang’s father briefly considered making her Muyang’s wife."
