Chapter 357: Two sided angel
She returned to the private room with fury in her eyes and Muyang helplessly allowed himself to be dragged by her.
The attendant and the woman were desperately running after them while uttering apologies for what they claimed was a misunderstanding. Chi Lian however was sure that there was no such thing as a misunderstanding.
Her belief was that there was no such thing as a coincidence in life; they had come fully prepared with a fake painting that was swapped out for the real one. This was a well thought out plan and she would be a fool to believe otherwise.
Back in the room they had just left, Yan Feng was nervously pacing around, "Why are you senseless sometimes Daya? We were contracted to buy the painting for a private third party and we told to use all the resources at our disposal to acquire it. Why did you stop me from further bidding?"
Yan Daya leaned back lazily in her chair with an ugly sneer on her face which would shock the millions of her fans all over the empire.
"You heard manager Shao, Jun Muyang was our competition, does anyone else in this empire apart from the royal family have the confidence to compete with brother Muyang when it comes to money?"
Yan Feng in return looked at his sister with a mocking gaze and he said, "Brother!!! Are you still acting as if the Jun family wants you? Get over yourself and return to your senses Daya, Jun Muyang has a wife and children."
"Arrrrghhh," Yan Daya screamed and threw a glass at Yan Feng. He dodged and it hit the wall, smashing into pieces and landing on the floor. "She is not his wife." She said in a rage.
"So he just bought the blessing lotus for her because she is his sister? She may not be married to him but their engagement bouquet has already been announced. She is wearing his ring on her finger; you need to come up with the explanation we are going to give our client about this failure." Yan Feng retorted mercilessly.
