Xiao Ling rushed to Yanzhi’s sanctuary where he had gone into secluded cultivation. Reaching there he saw Yanzhi still seated crossed leg on the stone bed, but this time his eyes were opened.
Ever since Yanzhi had gone into secluded cultivation he had visited everyday, and everytime he came Yanzhi’s eyes were closed and his senses shut off. As he got closer he felt the spiritual energy which seemed to be swirling around Yanzhi like a tornado and repelling everything away crazily. The pressure excluding from Yanzhi was so heavy that Xiao Ling himself felt threatened and anxious. He stood a lot distance away not daring to get closer but also excited to do so.
"Xiang gong...." he called out softly wanting to get close to that person whom he had been thinking about all the time for the past two years. As if his anxious calls didn’t go unheard the swirling around Yanzhi stopped and his senses slowing returned as he turned his attention towards Xiao Ling. When their eyes met it was as if sparks were flying everywhere and he felt his heart melt into puddle. Momentarily he took a step forward in a hurry and before he could utter a word, Yanzhi’s body disappeared and something dashed towards him in lightining speed. Xiao Ling was startled and unconsciously went on guard, but before he could even understand what was going on his body fell to the ground with a heavy thud and he felt an unbearable weight on himself all over his body. He blinked in confusion as his body was being coiled around by something with very low temperature making him shivered a lot. Coming back to himself he saw the white scales and the thing moving around his body which kept him in place and in captive, coming face to face with the snake head staring at him with hot eyes. The snake was snow-white in color with colourful pupils, two horns on the head and if not looking at it very closely one will mistaken it for a dragon but yet it was very much snake-like.
"Xiang gong?" Xiao Ling was filled with excitements forgetting about the uncomfortable position he was in. He received no reply but the snake coiling around him made him feel breathless and suffocating as the strength was increased making his face turned red. It was as if the snake wanted to swallow him whole but not the kind of swallowing that is done with the mouth.
"X-xiang gong I can’t breath! Let go! Let go!" patting on the snake Xiao Ling said breathlessly. At his distressed call the snake stopped it’s action of coiling and looking intently at him, it flicked it’s fork and seemed very reluctant. "Little wife, you’re still weak!" Yanzhi’s voice sounded with dissatisfactions. Xiao Ling who was being suffocated to death couldn’t help but glared and laughed angrily. "You’re going to crush the egg!" he said more distressed and anxiously. Yanzhi hearing that had a very amusing stunned look on his snake face. He uncoiled back from his body, still coiled up on the ground his head looking down at Xiao Ling’s face. Xiao Ling got up from the floor tiredly and couldn’t help but smiled looking at the dumbfounded look on the snake face. He finally got to see the snake well and gasped stunned, the snake was huge in size and long when it’s still coiled up. He couldn’t help but wanted to see Yanzhi in his true snake size, if this size was really magnificent then what would be of his true size? Xiao Ling was incredulous and full of expectations for the growth of his cubs.
"Little wife....you seem to be carrying a cub again.." Turning back into his human form, already cleaned up he said incredibly. After snakes kind mate their semen would survive for a long time in females and the females would still be able to conceive even without mating. He knew that but he didn’t think that would just work with Xiao Ling.
"En! Just found out two months ago, from doctor Shi’s words I’m already two and half." he said in a casual tone. "So it won’t be long before the eggs come out. But Xiang gong surprisingly I wasn’t drained at all this time around and only had to take qi replenishing pills once a day, what do you think it means?" Walking closer to Yanzhi, Xiao Ling explained with doubts.
