In a cave, a red haired man laid sickly on the stone bed. His face sunken without colour, his lips terrifyingly pale and his lashes fluttering. His forehead was covered in sweat beads and on his face one could see that he was in so much pain as his lashes fluttering and his eyes wanting to open. He was trembling and muttering something underneath his breath consistently as if in the state of dream but what he was muttering couldn’t be heard at all.

He shot his eyes seemed to weigh on him very heavily opened and looked to his side alerted, he was startled seeing someone by his side but soon regained his composure and his already dull eyes looked even more dulled showing no emotions and looking as if they were dead. Looking at the young monk in monk’s robes who was squatting beside him and looking to him with burning eyes of lust, even though the red haired man wanted to be disgusted he couldn’t be at all. It was as if his senses had died and he looked very broken with no care for anything. He looked to be waiting for death and nothing more.

This man was the chief of the Red Fox Clan and went by the name Hu Xiaoyue. He used to be with ethereal beauty that whoever saw him would be enchanted by his beauty. Men, women and ger were all crazy for him. When in his presence it was as if in the presence of a majestic being. He was both feared and admired but most importantly he was kind-hearted whether to the monster clan or human clan. But now looking at him one wouldn’t even be able to recognize him as the ethereal beauty he was once used to be call. He looked so broken with no chance of repair, sickly and looked to be at death’s door. He lost his whole clan and lost himself and all he sought now was his demise. He had self destruct his beast core which those who made him this way sought out badly but because he was very weak and had no strength he couldn’t completely self destruct and was saved by this little monk beside him.

He should be thankful to be saved but the more reason he couldn’t be thankful. This little monk named Shan Xing didn’t save him out of kindness at all but he saved him for his body, this body which already was worn out after being used over and over again. It was long broken and slowly crumbling yet still this monk also sought and salivated after it.

"Xiao Xing you’re back..." his hoarse voice sounded indifferently and was devoid of any warmth.

"Brother Hu! Look what I’ve got back, I’ll cook it for you to eat in a while." Shan Xing smiled brightly showing him the fat hare in hand. Hu Xiaoyue watched him quietly not saying whether he heard him or not, his eyes blank and dead.

"How’s the situation outside?" he asked turning his eyes away. "It’s the usual, there are still a lot of people pursuing brother Hu. They haven’t given up yet." he answered seriously. "But brother Hu do not be afraid for I’m here, I will protect you!" Shan Xing solemnly promised and was smiling foolishly. Hu Xiaoyue turned to look at him for a moment and turned back again.

"En." he hummed nonchalantly and didn’t want to say anything again. After a while he still felt Shan Xing squatting beside him and lot leaving. He showed a self-deprecating smile which was meant for himself. Already knowing what the child next to him wanted he still went on to ask mockingly "why is Xiao Xing still here and not leaving to cook?"

Shan Xing scratch his bald head shyly "brother Hu I miss you!" said shyly with his eyes roaming on Hu Xiaoyue’s body and salivating looking like a starving beast staring at it’s prey.

"En." Hu Xiaoyue turned to him staring for a while and hummed, he said nothing and continued to look at the child who had been messing around with his crumbling body for more than two months now. He waited for the child to continue with his words, it had been like that. He would not resist and let the child do whatever he wanted with his already broken down body, because he couldn’t resist even if he wanted to. In his situation now the only thing he does was continue to lay there, at most he could stand up and walk for only about ten steps before his body gives away.
