Walking into the mountains and seeing tons of dead bodies scattered around, Yicheng looked as if she had walked into a playground specifically designed for her. "Daddy can I keep all of them?" she asked with pouted checks, her eyes looking at him aggrievedly.
Xiao Ling chuckled seeing her acting cute with him. "What is so good about those dead bodies that you have to drool over them?" Jiaolong had a disgusted look on his face and rolled his eyes at his younger sister. "What do you know? Isn’t it because you can’t control them and that’s why you say that." she taunted him, but he was noncommittal about her taunts.
"Okay, okay do not argue. Cheng’er it’s still too earlier to think about controlling so many undeads, let’s talk about that after your control is strong." Xiao Ling rejected her looking at the over thousand dead bodies scattered all over the mountain. "But daddy....!" she looked unwilling but Xiao Ling had no intention to give in. Lijiu walked to her and raised his hand to her head as he gently patted her on the head. "Not now. When you become stronger." his tone was gentle and dotting. With her teary eyes she reluctantly nodded to his words. Xiao Ling was filled with happiness seeing their interactions. "I’ll leave about 200 for you. You already have more than 500 undead soldiers still in training. That’s enough for you to practice your control." Xiao Ling said, his tone full of doting.
"Mistress! We’ve gathered all the bodies in one place." Yue spoke breaking up the atmosphere. She walked to him along with Bee. "Okay." Xiao Ling said and released his ability, soon all the dead rose up covered in eerie dark air as he sent them into his undead plain. "Let’s go." he said once he was done. They all listened to him and made their way back to the sect grounds.
"Cheng’er, elder sister will take you out to play later." Yue said to Yicheng who was pouting so hard that her cheeks looked as if they were about to be blown off. Her eyes lit up sparkling brightly when she heard Yue speak. "Really?" she asked with expectations. "En! Liu will also come along right..?" as Yue said they both turned to Liu who was smiling while she listened on to their conversations. "Okay. Let’s go together. We’ll take Jiaolong, Lijiu and Chuntao along."
Chang: " Why did you leave me out?" said with dissatisfactions.
Lijiu: ".... okay." reluctantly nodded.
Jiaolong: "eh? Why do I have to come along?" full of unwillingness.
