Chapter 78: Ch. 37 Part 1
Doctor Shi and Jinhua upon coming to the inn to welcome Yanzhi and Xiao Ling were told that the couple had gone for a walk. They waited outside the inn keeping watch at all sides in expectations of seeing Yanzhi and Xiao Ling. Jinhua had a look of worry and anxiousness as he paced in front of the inn, he was looked at by people who by passed them. In the capital his identify as a prince was no secret so seeing him in such a state, people just glance once and walk away only whispering in very small voices afraid to be heard.
"I have seen his your highness prince Jinhua and doctor Shi." The inn owner who was informed of Jinhua’s visit to his inn rush to the inn in hurry. He bowed and greeted respectfully getting down from the carriage. Jinhua stopper pacing and watched him expressionlessly and nodded.
"Prince Jinhua is there something you dislike in my inn? I’ll change it away" the inn owner said excited with a flattering smile. The thoughts of having two big people at his inn made him wanted to flatter more and sell points, people like Jinhua and doctor Shi wouldn’t even spare a glance at his inn let alone visit. His inn wasn’t bad but it wasn’t as luxury as the inns people like Jinhua and doctor Shi would visit. He couldn’t think of any reason why Jinhua and doctor Shi chose to visit his inn but he wouldn’t let such a chance pass by him, in his mind he thought to try to be acquaintance to them.
"No, there’s no such thing. We’re here for someone else, you can go on with your thing!" in a cold tone Jinhua said bluntly. The inn owner was flabbergasted thinking which powerful person was it that had a prince of the dynasty pacing in front of a low class inn for him/her, the inn owner was very curious.
"Jinhua stop getting excited, his excellency and master Ling can get by any troubles. With their strength how can they be affected with things going on in the capital?" doctor Shi said to Jinhua in an assuring tone.
"You’re right! I’m just thinking that no one angers them...or the capital will fall without anyone even knowing how. That senior sent as our guard with only his strength half of the capital would be destroyed!" Jinhua shivered recalling his encounter with Xiao Ling’s shadow clone.
"Did you see that young master? Ah so handsome like a fairy!"
Jinhua’s ears perked up picking up the voices of the passer-byers whispering in bliss and envy. But he didn’t pay much attention to what they were whispering about and neither did he get curious. All he was thinking about was to see YanZhi and Xiao Ling as soon as possible.
Just as he raised his head up his gazed upon Xiao Ling’s approaching figure, he got excited and looked around but he couldn’t spot Yanzhi or maybe he just couldn’t recognize the person walking side by side with Xiao Ling.
"Master Ling!" he quickly walked over to Xiao Ling calling in an overly excited tone. Doctor Shi followed along him looking glad.
"Oh Jinhua! Doctor Shi! You’re both here!" Xiao Ling called back in an excited tone too, he was happy to see the friends he made in this world. "Did you wait long?" Xiao Ling asked looking apologetically.
