"Master Jun and master Ling, it’s an honor to finally meet you. My son had told me a lot about you this few days." Jinhua’s father started with a conversation as he spoke in a mild tone which was humble yet not very humble and had arrogance in his tone. He who is the direct brother of the current emperor of the dynasty, and was given the title King of Pingxi where he rules, he was of royalty so how could he lower himself for a lowly martial artist. Both doctor Shi and Jinhua were terrified when they heard his dad speak, Yanzhi just glanced at him lightly without saying anything as he continued to drink from his tea cup. Xiao Ling had no absolute care of what was talked about nor did he have interest, Yue just sat respectfully without her master and mistress ordering she would not act. And the elderly man just distanced himself trying to reduce his presence. King Pingxi frowned a bit not receiving any response from both Yanzhi and Xiao Ling, with his status people bow to him and scurry favors with him. What if Yanzhi and his wife were martial arts masters, it wasn’t like they were immortal cultivators who were considered to be Buddhas. From the tales heard from Jinhua, Yanzhi and his wife are both capable masters able to use internal force so he had in mind to try and win them over to his side. "So master Jun who are the people with you?" King Pingxi put aside his anger and decided to approach from a different angle. But still Yanzhi gave no answer nor did he look bothered.
"Ah! This is Yue, husband’s disciple. And him... well the formal master of the begger’s sect" Xiao Ling was the one to speak. King Pingxi, Jinhua and doctor Shi’s hands stopped in midway whiles holding their tea cups. They were dumbfounded and out of it.
"I have seen King Pingxi, prince Jinhua and doctor Shi. I am called Tan Fan, the former leader of the begger’s sect" the elderly man who was being watched by them introduced in a humble and respectful tone.
"Puff!" three people spit tea out of their mouths at the same time. Cough! Cough! Cough! They started to cough violently.
"Your highnesses!" the servants at present ran to them in worry at once, they patted their backs.
"Oh my...are you three alright?" Xiao Ling asked innocently looking clueless. The three were dumbfounded by his clueless look not knowing whether he was just pretending or really was clueless. Yanzhi and Yue didn’t even bother sparing them a glance. And Tan Fan looked at them with worry, he could literally understand them because he himself even didn’t know exactly what was going on. He heard Yanzhi say he was saved because of a favor but still Tan Fan was confused about many things.
"Before you start asking questions, i have a proposal for you." Yanzhi’s words fell out after the three had stopped coughing, he said to Tan Fan. The three looked with curiosity, they also wanted to know what proposal Yanzhi had for a convict who was supposed to be beheaded by now, but was now sitting with them and drinking tea leisurely, ah!
Tan Fan looked at him waiting for Yanzhi to speak, but Yanzhi was in no hurry at all. He had a lazy aura as he sipped tea slowly. "Hmmm... i have two proposal for you. Enslave your eternity to my family and live a life which has no affliction with the mortal lives. Or forget your meeting with me today and start afresh with your live somewhere which you choose." Yanzhi’s words were simple and clear. Except King Pingxi everyone presented understood the meaning behind his words. Tan Fan looked with complications, which option to choose was a dilemma. All options were good but the best option was what he desired most.
