Chapter 77: Ch. 36 Part 2

In Big Stone Village.....
Lin, Feng, Baihu and Mei Lin who were left behind at the village to take care of things over there, felt that their days without their master and mistress and also their fellow sisters and brother disciples were uneventful. Their days for the past week or so were spent either carrying the tasks given to them or cultivating. Lin was left in charge of overseeing the constructions. Feng and Mei Lin were tasked with replanting herbs at a given location in the martial arts school with the assistance of No.8 and No.9. Baihu was tasked with overseeing No. 1, No. 2, No. 3. No. 4 and No. 5 who were tasked with guarding and protecting the restaurant, Baihu’s job was to step in when the situation is very dire. Aunt Feng and Uncle Feng were tasked with helping out at the restaurant and taking care of the house, the Lu’s were to focus solely on their cultivations and improve before the return of Yanzhi and Xiao Ling. Everyone of them had their important roles which were left for them to do, they carry out the works given to them wholeheartedly and never slacking off. When they have nothing to do they focus on cultivating, their days without Yanzhi and Xiao Ling were like this which made them felt like their days were uneventful. It wasn’t as if Yanzhi prevented them from doing anything else but their jobs and cultivating, Yanzhi said nothing against them going to the town and having fun or do something else they wanted. It was just that to Lin, Feng, Baihu and Mei Lin who weren’t human beings in the first place and didn’t know much about the human lives, the things that humans do in their daily lives weren’t registered in their minds so they had no thoughts about such things. But instead they would prefer to spend their time with Yanzhi and Xiao Ling which made them missed Yanzhi and Xiao Ling daily.
Gallop! Gallop! Gallop! Gallop!
The clattering sounds made by horses hooves was heard as about four horses galloped into big stone village, following behind the horses was a donkey cart. The folks of big stone village recognized the person leading the horses and donkey cart to be one of Yanzhi’s servant. This made them relaxed the tension and vigilance they had when they heard the hooves of horses. They looked with questions and keen interest as they watched the horses bypass them and No. 1 leading them to Yanzhi’s house. It was no news to everyone that Yanzhi and his wife had left on a journey, but only a few people knew where they journeyed to.
"Is the Jun family’s eldest son and his wife back?" someone amidst the crowds asked curiously. Some shook their heads as others just stared with question marks. But they all were most sure that Yanzhi wasn’t back since no one has heard of his return or seen him. The folks went back to their works as others decided to follow behind the horses to Yanzhi’s house.
Four horses came to stop in front of Yanzhi’s and Xiao Ling’s house, all four horses were strong horses with strong legs but one amongst them stood out the most. Shiny smooth black fur and long smooth mane, it’s demeanor was that of proud look and elegance almost looking humane. It’s whole body hair was black whiles the other three horses where red horses, that was the horse which belonged to No. 1.
No.1 smoothened and pet it’s back when they all got down from their horses, the other three people who came along with him stood at the side with cold looks. But one amongst them who seemed to be the leader had look of disgust and disdain looking like he had a grudge.
"Please take care of the other horses for me okay" No. 1 whispered to his horse as he continued to pet it. His strange behavior of conversing with an animal made the people who came with him looked to him with pity and confusion thinking he was a total idiot. No. 1 ignored their questioning looks and continued to pet his horse looking at it pleadingly, the horse snorted and turned it’s head away.
