The Fate Of The World Is In My Hands, But All I Want To Do Is Eat!

Chapter 165: Leo, I don’t want to kill the monsters

"Then let’s do this. Let’s count to ten. If Domus doesn’t learn to use its wings after that, I’ll tell you how to use gravity force to help him without even moving from this spot."

Alice looked at him and then tilted her head.

"Is there such a way to do that with gravity force?" She asked. "I thought I could only make the bad guys kiss the ground with it."

"It’s gravity. Just as you can increase it, you can also decrease it. It’s that simple." He said and she nodded, waving her hand in the air to get on with it.

"Fine, fine. Just do it already." She said, acting in a hurry. "Let’s start counting."

She thought it best not to look down at Domus struggling and crying for help. As soon as Leo gets to ten, she would dive in to save it at the speed of light.

"One," He started but then stopped, his lips curled up. "Ah, I don’t think there’s any need to count anymore." He said and she grabbed him by the collar,

"You want a beating? Start counting. Domus is..."

"Domus is coming." Leo interrupted him but Alice did not understand what he was saying. "Look down."

Alice looked down to see Domus flying unsteadily back to them.

"Ah, he did it. He..." She paused and looked at Leo with squinted eyes. "Wait a minute, were you trying to buy time by arguing with me all along?" She asked and he threw his face aside, sticking his tongue out. She gasped in disbelief, "So, you never intended to count to ten in the first place."
