Chapter 166: Are you leaving Lilith’s body here?
"Hello?" Alice answered the call and Mark asked,
"Alice, how are you doing in there?"
"Fine, actually. But what I’d like to know is how you can call my phone. Doesn’t the gate have like... No signal or something?" She asked and he nodded from where he was, glancing around.
"It’s true but for some reason, it connected. Are you fine? Do you need any help?" He asked.
"Nah, I’m fine. I’ll come out soon so you can go home. I’m hungry, you know." She said and he nodded, understanding her words.
"I’ll prepare something nice as fast as I can. Please, stay safe, okay?" He warned and she smiled,
"Yeah, you too."
The call ended and Alice sighed.
"Guess we’ll have to get out of here now." She said, only to raise her head and meet Leo’s fingers, ready to flick her forehead.
She couldn’t react in time and he succeeded.
The flick sent her flying a few meters away in the sky till she could balance herself and she groaned heavily, feeling her forehead throb, while he blew his fingers in pride.
