"Your majesty...!" a male servant knocked lightly on the divider "There’s’..."
"Didn’t I tell you that I will not be meeting with anyone for the rest of the day?" I shouted, "I don’t care if it’s my mother coming back from the dead, I simply do not want to see anyone... no visitor... is it too hard to understand that?"
"But your majesty!" he insisted.
I rose with rage and charged towards the divider meaning to give him a lesson of his life. As I swung open the door, my gaze met with that of Selene hovering around the door, an anxious look on her face. When she saw me, her face relaxed as she gave me a small smile and took a step in my direction.
"Please don’t kill him," she said with a small pout that wanted to make me pin her to the wall and kiss her senseless "I wanted to see you so badly that I put him up to keep pestering you, with hopes that you would let me see you but if it’s going to be too much bother then I can just go and come back another time," she bowed curtly to me and started for the door.
Almost at the door, I heaved a sigh... "It’s fine, you can come in but only for a limited amount of time, I don’t wish for company at this point," I said as she walked up to me with a bright smile "And if you’re going to say what will annoy me, Selene... you should decide against it. I am neither in the right frame of mind to have any thought process,".
"No problems, darling," she said offering me another patronizing smile which I tried hard to not return. As I ushered her into the bedroom, I noticed her eyes roving around the place with awe. "I didn’t know such a place existed in Moon Whisper. It’s so beautiful and cosy, nothing like your other room," she commented. "I was so alarmed when I didn’t see you in your room, thankfully Beta Reid was forthcoming today and directed me here,".
"Yeah," I nodded "So, to what do I owe this visit?" I asked. "But first, do you want a drink or anything?"
