Chapter 28: Misunderstood
Five minutes had passed since Allynna sat in the car. Her mind flashed back to what Leon had done to her before leaving the Mansion.
Allynna placed her hand on her forehead on the spot where Leon’s touched. Nothing felt different on it. But she knew something had happened for sure. At least now, her mind had become calmer, and the most surprising thing was that she understood all about the history of this empire.
Anything she wanted to know about history could appear in her mind as if there was a search engine in her mind.
She was excited and, simultaneously, scared when she realized that Leon was so powerful and knew how to do magic; He could read other people’s minds and even inject things into people’s minds easily.
Allynna looked at Geoffrey, who drove the car.
Only the two of them were in the car; Leon didn’t come with them. After transferring the knowledge of history into her brain, he went straight into the house without seeing her get into the car.
"Sir, no, I mean, Geoffrey... Can I ask you a question?" Allynna asked.
"Yes, My Lady..." Geoffrey answers while quick glance at her thru the rearview mirror.
"May I know why Leon hates me?" This question was one of the top ten questions in her mind. Allynna was curious because Leon rarely talked to her. He would only speak if she asked or something very important.
