Chapter 27: Her Feeling
"Let’s go back. Tomorrow, you have to wake up early for the exam," Leon said. He didn’t give her time to respond; he walked toward the house.
Allynna, who was speechless in her place in a hurry, chased after him, but Leon’s wide steps made her fall behind. She walked quickly after him and walked in silence until they arrived on the second floor.
She, staring at Leon’s back, disappeared behind his bedroom door. After his bedroom door closed, she also walked into her room with mixed feelings.
Standing frozen behind the bedroom door, she places her hands on her chest, trying to feel her heartbeat. She felt like there was a war drum inside her heart — this was something she had never felt before.
"What is this? Why do I feel like this?" Allynna asks herself.
Allynna couldn’t recognize this nameless feeling, but she could feel her heart beating fast whenever she imagined his face.
She touched her forehead, trying to feel her body temperature. She was shocked; her body temperature felt so hot.
Allynna was afraid she had a fever because tomorrow she had the final exam.
"Dear God, please don’t make me sick. I have to be healthy," Allynna prayed. She blames herself for standing by the sea for too long.
Allynna immediately went to the bathroom to clean up, but her step stopped by the mirror when she saw her reflection.
She gasped in suprised when she saw Leon’s coat still hanging on her body.
