Iris nodded, understanding the concept. The point was clear—she would still take lives. The difference is that in her previous life, Eric was her boss, whereas now, her boss was God.
’Goodness! How could my life take such a twist?’ Iris muttered to herself, momentarily forgetting that Gavriel could hear her inner voice.
"This is indeed a twist in your life, Iris," Gavriel admits. "But you should know that apart from your assigned task, you will also receive numerous benefits that will set you apart from other humans."
Gavriel’s words lifted Iris’s spirits, and a surge of excitement coursed through her veins. She straightened her back, feeling like her blood was boiling with anticipation.
"A benefit? What kind of benefit?" she eagerly asked.
"Each time you complete a mission, you will be presented with a choice of two rewards, from which you can choose one," Gavriel explained. He briefly paused as if thinking about something before swiftly adding, "And... all these rewards will be useful in the future. So the more missions you complete, the better!"
Iris nodded, recognizing the similarity to her past life, where she would receive substantial sums of money and felt stronger confidence every time she accomplished her missions.
