Chapter 23: First Date (1)
Evan happily nodded when he heard Marvin’s report progress.
As for Marvin, he could only silently take a deep breath. Actually, it’s not his job to take care of his Boss’s personal matters, but somehow his Boss likes to keep him busy with trivial things like this. Even though his Boss has several personal assistants who can do small things like this.
"Marvin, for now, no one will know my woman identity or privacy, including my family. So you better keep that way... don’t let them know." Marvin was stunned, looking at his Boss.
"Boss, why? Are you not serious with her?" After he said these words, he immediately felt regret. It felt like he wanted to slap his mouth for asking such a question.
Slowly Marvin turned his gaze elsewhere when his Boss narrowed his eyes, looking at him as if he wanted to beat him with his sharp eyes.
"Watch your words, Marvin! Rose Wilson will be my wife soon. Respect her as you respect me!"
Evan’s icy voice could make the study room feel like they were in the North Pole. Marvin could only nod. Now he clearly understands the status of Ms. Rose Wilson in the eyes of his Boss.
"Boss... I’m sorry. I will take care of everything. Lady Boss’ identity remains safe."
Evan’s lips curled up into a faint smile when he heard Marvin call Rose, Lady Boss. He likes it!
