Chapter 24: First Date (2)
They stopped right near the traffic light.
Evan turns to face Rose. When their eyes meet, he smiles lovingly at her before saying,
"I don’t mind if you get fat...I love you not because of your looks or your body shape. But I love you for who you are. I will love you unconditionally as long as you stay beside me!"
Rose was mesmerized by Evan’s sparkling-looking eyes. For the umpteenth time, she was immersed in his charm. And his sweet words made her heart flutter. She has always known Evan is a genius in studies and business. Rose never sees Evan as a genius at swaying women’s hearts. But he does. She is entirely in a daze, looking at him.
The more she heard his sweet words, the more she started to feel worried about herself.
Was it too soon for her to fall for this man?
"My Dear Rose! You should blink now, or your eyes will sting...." Evan smiled as his girl stared at him without blinking.
Did this girl flatter with his words? He thought.
Rose turned her gaze in another direction. Gosh! This man could be dangerous to any woman. He could enchant her to the point where she forgot to blink. Is he a God?
"Let’s go!" Evan slowly pulled Rose across the street.
Soon they arrive at the cinema.
