Chapter 42: Back In Business
It was maybe three or four minutes, without him even stopping just straight hammering her face, but then he just suddenly stopped letting out of her collar and just stood up.
His breath was ragged, his whole being was shaking from the exhaustion looking back at the ground... at Ivanka... or what once was Ivanka because her face was nearly nonexistent, it was just mangled flesh and bones
"Ahhh... I’m sorry." He whispered as he tried to wipe off the blood from his face, but he just made it worse, his whole upper body was covered by it, his shirt, his arms... he even tasted it as it went into his mouth. "I got carried away, but I just need to get rid of some stress, you know." He looked at Tervor whose face was fixed on him with the terror of what the fuck he just witnessed... "Now that this whore is dead, let’s speak about the money, shall we?"
They didn’t answer to him, fuck Albert’s eyes were still closed, not even daring to open it and look at him...
"500 million... that’s what I ask for, not more, not less, a rounded-up number, even less than what you all three stole."
Again a moment of silence, the only thing that could be heard was the ragged breath of Joseph and the blood dripping off his clothes, but Tervor knew that now there was nothing he could do, no sweet talks or anything else.
His so called power, so called authority, now meant nothing... he wanted respect and what he got was the last fucking Cassian who lost his fucking mind, staring at him covered with blood, not even giving a fuck about the fact that they are at the 20th floor middle of the city... not even giving a single fuck about how many evidence he just left.
Yeah Tervor finally realized that what Joseph said, he truly meant it, he does not give a fuck about anything, how much enemies he will make with this move, how he will become the center of the fucking attention of all agencies.
A fucking demon that they created... a demon that now was off the chains.
"W-where to send it...?" He asked with his voice hesitant and stuttering.
