Chapter 8: Car Accident
Back in her room, Zoila Mooney lay in bed and began to cry without even having dinner!
Richly endowed by nature, Zoila had been scheming since she was a child! In her eyes, Yvonne Taylor was just a bungling oaf easily provoked by her and her mother. But what was going on recently? Zoila felt she was always banging her head against a wall in front of Yvonne!
"Zoila!
"Zoila, open the door!"
Just then, Sarah Mooney knocked on the door.
Even though Zoila was in a bad mood, she didn’t dare to give her mother a hard time. So she opened the door with red eyes.
Sarah brought in some simple dishes.
"Eat something first. Don’t starve yourself."
"I don’t have an appetite!"
This year, Zoila was not as calm as Sarah. She was so well-contented recently that she would collapse at the slightest failure.
Sarah said, "Silly girl, Yvonne was just putting on airs. What can such a stupid girl do? Don’t worry, I promise I’ll get rid of her in less than a year and make you the only daughter of the Taylor Family!"
