Was there something different from when they got married? The answer to that would be, of course, that there wasn’t. If something had changed, perhaps, that was Arren’s status.
He was officially the Empress, which meant... the responsibilities and duties along with that title.
However, at this moment, the royal matters were set aside. Nothing was more important to the newly married couple than... honeymoon!
Rather than calling it a simple honeymoon, Arren preferred to call it experiencing and traveling the world before he became holed up in the palace doing his duties with Spade. And with that, to always be under the scrutiny of the masses.
Three months. They spent three months on the road, traveling to the places they wanted to be, inside or outside of the empire. Without guards or plans.
It was as if they were only traveling as a normal couple, checking in at hotels on their own. Spade also appeared to have spent most of his time with Arren, not bothering with the state of the empire since he was gone.
"Look! Spade, it’s starting!" Arren exclaimed, his eyes twinkling with excitement. The omega held a portable camera as he raised it in the air, intending to find a good angle.
