Chapter 340: Side Story 3: New Life
The couple planned to stay in the extreme north for a few more days before traveling to yet another country in the same hemisphere. Arren intended to visit most of the places he desired before the year was over.
However, no one thought the honeymoon travels would be cut short just then.
A few days later, after viewing the northern lights and having excessively made love for almost the whole day, the two decided to stay indoors for a while.
It just so happened that Arren also felt like just staying in their place, not having any mood to explore the place. Usually, he was the one who insisted on them walking around and taking pictures, saying every moment counts.
In the first couple of days, Spade did not think something was wrong with his omega and simply thought that it was him being lazy as usual. Arren was mostly excited during their trip, but there were also times that he only wanted to linger inside the room and spend the day that way.
Arren had been incredibly lethargic in the past few days, and his first impression was that it was because they made love until the crack of dawn, leaving him with a lack of sleep.
Though it was weird since he pretty much held up similar situations in the past, it was still not that big of a deal. If not, the alpha would not be so calm.
It was not until Arren’s appetite left him and he felt extreme nausea that he wanted to just lie down the whole day. Spade also finally began to take this change seriously.
Arren laid down on his right, closing his eyes as nausea hit him once more. He wanted to vomit so badly, but whenever he did, he only vomited out some acid, which made his mouth taste unpleasant.
"Let’s go to the hospital." Spade’s somber expression intensified as he looked at Arren, who looked so uncomfortable. He sat beside Arren, his right hand continuously brushing the omega’s hair, soothing him.
Hearing this, Arren slowly opened his eyes and met his husband’s worried gaze. Despite his weakness, he reached out for Spade’s hand and held him.
