Chapter 338: SS1: New - Begins (2)
As they stopped at a huge door, Arren gestured for the elderly woman. Mildren looked at him with a slightly puzzled expression.
Arren smiled, understanding at a glance what she wanted to ask. "You can just meet him alone, Auntie."
Auntie Mildred was clearly taken aback by this, but Arren quickly interrupted her, who was about to say something.
His smile only widened, and he placed Mildred’s hand on the door handle. He patted the back of her hand and continued, "Don’t worry, Auntie. He... has been waiting to meet you."
Mildred seemed not to be aware of the weight of Arren’s words yet, but she would soon understand them.

Arren definitely forgot to tell her Spade was not the only one there, his father was also inside. Nothing could be done; he really forgot to mention it. Really.
A moment later, Arren halted his steps just as the sun was about to shine against his skin. His gaze landed on the field outside through the windows. It was the same serene scene, yet there was a significant increase of people in the palace.
Each time he saw the guests arriving one after another, Arren was always reminded that... Really, one of the most important days of his life would happen in just a few days!
Just the thought of this made him thrilled, but at the same time, there was also a little anxiety that crept inside of him. It wasn’t that he wasn’t sure of this wedding, but that... the prospect of finally being married to the alpha he loved after what they had been through, especially from their first life.
