A small private plane landed; a group of escorts then welcomed them and led them to the VIP exit. As the group passed by with a huge entourage of guards, they gained curious glances from the passing nobles.
"Do you know them?" A beautiful woman whispered to the man next to her.
The man tilted his head slightly and then followed the group with his gaze. After a pause, he shook his head.
"I don’t..." He then shrugged and looked sternly at the woman. "Forget it. They look like such a big deal for a group of royal guards to welcome them. Let’s not talk about this too much; they are probably here to attend the important occasion happening in a week."
That said, the man was also curious. However, compared to the woman with her, he had a lot more experience dealing with upper society. Seeing that the group was escorted by royal guards was enough to reveal that they were highly valued guests and couldn’t be provoked.
Not only him, but a lot of nobles, big or small, decided not to stop talking about what they witnessed and went on with their business.
