Chapter 146: Pre-rut
As minutes passed, Arren was already uneasy, so he decided to return; he didn’t want to make Spade wait any longer. For sure, he had already arrived and was frustrated as Arren disappeared once more.
"Mr. Ivo," he captured his attention, his voice low. The elder omega looked at him and waited as he continued. "I can head back first, and as for Rave, he can stay here with you."
It was better that he leave them alone for a while so that they could have a good talk with each other. His being there could also be considered intrusive if the two of them had something important to discuss after not seeing each other for so many years.
"Arren..." He was about to say something, but Arren simply waved his hand.
"It’s okay, you can reminisce with each other." He looked at Rave and then shifted back to the elder omega, and he smiled, "Don’t worry, Mr. Ivo. I won’t say anything, if you’re not yet ready." He had a knowing smile on his face, and what he said could easily be understood.
He wouldn’t say anything to Spade about Rave finally seeing one of his parents, as Mr. Ivo was also involved with the organization, he had a lot of inside information that could help them. However, he wasn’t ungrateful. The elder omega had helped him, so he would keep his mouth shut about this until the omega was ready.
Mr. Ivo was taken aback before he nodded and smiled with gratitude to Arren.
He said goodbye to them and proceeded to go back where they were earlier; for sure, Spade was still there, and if not, he left someone there in case Arren returned.
And while he was walking at his pace, Spade indeed had already arrived at their place. In fact, after they left and chased Ivo, the alpha had already arrived at that place.
