Chapter 145: Reunion
Of course, even though the beach had a certain limit for its visitors every month, there were still a lot of people on the island, especially this morning.
Arren didn’t know what was going on on Levin’s side. Curt was hard to capture, but it should be easier this time, especially if he was alone; how could he hide here or even escape once everyone had locked onto him? His luck was already spent, hopefully.
Otherwise, Arren would definitely mock Levin for being incompetent if that undying fellow still managed to escape his grasp.
An enemy’s territory wasn’t necessarily always the safest place to hide, and it was like delivering yourself to the other’s mouth. That was Curt’s fate at the moment.
Even so, he didn’t have much time to think of others as he was chasing Rave, who was chasing Mr. Ivo. Until now, when he was running with them and almost out of breath, he still didn’t have any clue as to why they had a chasing game. Was it possible that Mr. Ivo and Rave knew each other?
Were they enemies? Since, if they had a good relationship, why would Mr. Ivo run upon seeing Rave and the Omega also chase after him?
Whatever, he didn’t know what was going on. But he knew one thing—he was screwed again. He left once more; his sins had now accumulated to the point, he didn’t even know how to make it up to the alpha for what he had done. Hopefully, he could come back when Spade still had to arrive. Which was unlikely to happen, looking at their situation.
As they were running, he almost lost Rave. Arren couldn’t match the other’s stamina since he wasn’t really athletic and couldn’t run fast either. When he caught up to Rave, who was looking around, he seemed to lose sight of Mr. Ivo.
The crowd had made it hard for them to look for the elder omega. Arren didn’t say anything, but he only followed him. Rave also seemed occupied and didn’t bother with Arren before he ran again; the omega’s persistence made Arren stare in awe.
