Chapter 144: Chase
Even after a few minutes had passed by again, the elder omega was nowhere to be seen. This time, the three of them knew something was wrong and didn’t persuade him to wait a minute longer.
"Can we check on him?" Arren suggested, he was really worried. "You can just tell Spade to look for us there," he told Levin.
The two of them had no objections, it was also not that far and wouldn’t inconvenience them. Having decided that, the three of them began walking in the direction that Mr. Ivo had left earlier.
Arren still hooked his arms around Rave while they walked together; Levin was behind them and still holding the coconut in his hand. He really didn’t know why the alpha had yet to let go of it; for sure, it didn’t have juice anymore.
"Say, Rave, is Spade extremely angry?" He whispered in the omega’s ears. He was curious; he seemed carefree right now, but he was really nervous. Arren didn’t even know how he should face him or what he should say to Spade once he met him.
Arren knew that acting coquettish toward the alpha and asking for forgiveness for what he did was not enough. He might not say it was his fault since he didn’t intend to do that, but in reality, it was also partly his fault, no matter how he denied it.
If he didn’t become immersed in playing around, he wouldn’t wander that far from the shore.
Rave looked at him, not bothering with how close they were. He was already used to Arren’s clinginess.
"His Majesty is not angry," Rave responded, glancing at him. Just as he was about to refute that it was impossible for Spade not to be angry at him, the omega continued. "Angry is not the right word."
