Chapter 376: Beautiful.
Arissa gulped and nodded softly, "I understand."
Nicklaus nodded with a small smile. His phone beeped from his pant pocket, indicating a message.
He placed a soft kiss on Arissa’s cheek, "Excuse me," he pleaded and rolled away from her.
Taking his phone out of his pant pocket, he took a glance at the message sent and walked towards the door. Arissa sat up on the bed and watched him with curious eyes.
Nicklaus turned the doorknob and found Lukas standing before the door, holding bags in both sides of his hand.
Nicklaus took the bag from him and gave him a light nod. Lukas dismissed himself afterwards and Nicklaus closed the door and walked back into the room.
Arissa’s eyes followed him around and when Nicklaus sat down beside her, she was able to relax back on the bed.
From inside the bag, Nicklaus brought out a sleeveless flowing floor-length flowery blue summer day dress and passed it over to her and underwear attached to it.
"Thank you," Arissa said as she received the dress from him, "You shouldn’t have bothered," she added scanning the dress. Putting on dresses has never been her thing but when they came from Nicklaus, she understood he must have placed the order for the baby’s comfort.
