Chapter 69: Sages Will Take Care Of It (1)
Atlas smiled at this and said, "Thank you, my lady," and smiled gently. When he freed his own hand from Cassandra, he turned to Bhagholir beside him and left nothing behind but the people staring at him.
"You can’t be...this dense..." Lyra said aloud, but was quickly silenced by Cassandra.
"My lord, if it is possible, I would like to welcome all these people to your city for a while. I do not have much gold. My fortune consists of over six hundred thousand gold and close to a million silver, but I have hundreds of formulas of my own creation, and I know I can make money. If possible, I would like you to protect them for a while," Atlas said suddenly.
Bhagholir shook his head after these words and said, "Your request is an order for me. I told you, you can do whatever you want in my city, and I will take your request as an order." He then turned to his family and said, "Then you know what to do."
Atlas stood where he was, unable to stand any longer, and then said, "I’m really having trouble even standing, I need to rest."
Cassandra embraced Atlas as soon as she heard these words and then said, "Then let’s go." As soon as the beautiful woman uttered these words, both Atlas and Cassandra were covered with a layer of blood and disappeared in front of everyone’s eyes.
Atlas closed and opened his eyes only once and managed to see that he was in a completely different place. When he looked around, he saw that everything was covered in solid shades of colour.
When Cassandra put Atlas on the floor, she said, "Welcome," and then pointed around with her hands and said, "This is your room."
"Excuse me, milady?" Atlas couldn’t help but question, even though he didn’t quite understand what was going on. Atlas was suddenly kidnapped by Cassandra, the second most powerful of the Sages.
