Chapter 167: Pregnant
"What is wrong with me?" A weak Chloe asked Jane who was busy observing her. They were both inside Jane’s office where Chloe had come to seek help. "How long have you been feeling this way Chloe?" Jane asked as she silently observed her.
"Uum.. I don’t know I think for over a month now and it’s stressing me out! I mean I have morning sickness as if I am pregnant....preg... preg... I need a test kit now!" Chloe was busy evaluating things when it dawned on her that she might be pregnant, freaking Jane completely.
"Woaah Chloe, what are you talking about?" Jane asked making the girl realize she blurted out things without thought. "Uumm..." She took a long breath before composing herself and explaining things to Jane.
"You slept with Ryan?!!" An amazed yet excited Jane asked as she excitedly waved her hand for Chloe to continue. "Come on Jane, don’t tease me..it was not intentional!" Chloe cutely pouted as she slapped Jane’s hands lightly.
"So that means you are carrying the future heir/heiress of..." Jane did not finish her statement when Nicole quickly burst into the office with a tablet on her hands. "Jane, Chloe, we have a problem. Someone spread this!" She handed the tablet over to them and the article, accompanied with a photo of both Chloe and Ryan kissing on the floor was by now leading the top searches.
Chloe’s eyes almost popped out as she read the article which claimed that she had been seducing Ryan Lu. The article was in no way friendly as it totally trashed Chloe and accompanied to it was a large water army trashing Chloe, claiming that she was not a woman of dignity and much more.
"It must have been that plastic girl!" Chloe angrily shouted as she broke a glass, scaring both Jane and Nicole. "Calm down Chloe, you don’t want to get hurt or hurt the baby incase there is one." Jane said as she ordered a Confused Nicole to get a pregnancy kit.
Outside Chloe Cosmetics, things were not good as a lot of reporters had camped outside wanting to hear the truth from Chloe. "Who is so mad to come up with such an article?"
