Chapter 62: Blink
"Master, in our next battle with auntie, can I go all out?" Snow asked through telepathic communication. "Me, too, Master. I have been itching to use my full powers but since Big sister Qwanisha did not allow us, I have been restraining myself." Little Gorilla followed.
Kaiju sighed helplessly. "We cannot. We have been spied on by other races, the blood bound might be on it, too. We can’t reveal ourselves naked."
Snow and Little Gorilla hung their heads low. Kaiju petted their heads. "Don’t worry, there will be a day you can use your bloodline awakening. You two will not hold back at all."
Snow and Little Gorilla nodded, still feeling a bit dismayed. Kaiju sighed. "Just so you know, even if you go all out, do you think Big Sister Qwanisha will do the same? She is much more cautious than you two. To be honest, I am perplexed why we even have to be careful against the other races when we rely on them to complete the Trial. She might just be cautious."
Snow and Little Gorilla were silent. They still nodded about the idea of Qwanisha still restraining herself even if they went all out. To comfort themselves, Snow said, "It’s just frustrating how auntie is taking us lightly. I have just been holding myself. I can take her even with myself."
Kaiju chuckled. "Are you sure?"
Snow proudly replied, "Of course. Does she have a bloodline awakening?"
"Who knows?" Kaiju shrugged. "But it is not good to compare yourself to her, even your teacher, as you are subconsciously treating them as your enemy."
