Chapter 19: Ordo of Life
"Go back upstairs," said Evylin in response.
She turned around and exited the cultivation room.
Oliver followed her up the stairs, and they arrived back upstairs shortly after.
"Sit."
Once there, Evylin pointed to the sofa opposite the one she was sitting on.
When Oliver sat down, Evylin took out a thin green book with a cover depicting a fallen leaf.
"This is called the Ordo of Life, one of the scriptures for cultivating the power of life—currently the best of its kind. However, like most scriptures, it’s incomplete. It only contains ten percent of its full content. If you rely solely on this, you can only reach the Tenth Stage of the Spiritual Master Realm," Evylin explained as she handed the book to Oliver.
He accepted it and began flipping through it.
Most circulating scriptures were indeed incomplete. The complete ones were typically weak. Even so, most incomplete scriptures usually contained 30 to 50 percent of their contents.
This one only had 10 percent, which was extremely little.
As he opened it, he saw many strange writings and symbols.
Though he couldn’t fully understand them, they somehow imprinted themselves directly into his mind, allowing him to recall them clearly.
