Chapter 20: Shopping
Upon entering the store, Oliver could only be captivated by the various items displayed in glass cabinets or hanging on the walls.
He didn’t recognize most of them, but what fascinated him the most were the various kinds of weapons in all shapes and forms.
The interesting part was that they all emitted a faint glow. Some even radiated elements like fire and lightning.
There were also large suits of armor designed to cover the entire body, with versions for both men and women.
Oliver also saw a glass cabinet filled with many luxurious bottles, which appeared to contain Magic Energy Drinks.
They came in various sizes, but there were special bottles that looked small yet supposedly contained liters of the drink.
From what he saw, most of the store’s customers were buying these drinks—it was clear they considered them extremely important.
Oliver noticed an appraisal counter guarded by a rather thin middle-aged man wearing glasses, though he didn’t look weak in the slightest.
If anyone wanted to sell something in this store, they could speak to this man.
Oliver wasn’t the only one selling Monster Cores. There were five others before him, and he had to wait in line.
When it was his turn, he placed all the Monster Cores he had collected onto the table.
"I want to sell these," he said.
