Her Vengeful Lycan Alpha

Chapter 41: Her Room

Chapter Forty-One – Her Room

Laurel frowned as the maids ran off. "Where are you going...." but her remaining words got stuck in her throat. She stared at him. What was he doing all the way here?

"What are you doing there, Laurel?" he asked.

Her hands went to her mouth, and she looked away. The place was to be demolished anyway. Couldn’t he let her see it? "S-Sorry." She murmured.

Stefan’s eyebrows raised. Did he really hear an apology from her? It was the fist time. She looked different. Her hair was down and she looked how she did when he first met her. He sighed softly. "Get down from there."

Laurel’s hands left her mouth. "I just want to stay a little longer. It’s about to be demolished and this is where I spent my whole eighteen years."

Her whole eighteen years? In that small room? Stefan found it ridiculous. "You mean it’s not your closet or something?" It was a genuine question.

Laurel wore a frown. "It’s bigger than that." Her eyes widened as she noticed him coming up. She rushed to the room to gather anything useful.

As she turned to run down before he got there, she bumped into him, staggering back. "Shit." she cursed.

He stared at her. When her hair was down, she was really beautiful. And the thing on her lips,... it was distracting. He looked away from her and around the room.
