Chapter 22: A normal Conversation
Angelo’s pov
"So, how have you been these days?" I asked as we continued to dance. Her hair was styled in such an elegant way, making her appear so regal. Up close, she looked more beautiful, and she smelled so freaking good that I wanted to bury my face in her throat and take a deep inhale.
"Do you really want a genuine answer though? Last I remembered, you kidnapped me. Against my own will. And now you ask how I am? I don’t think you care enough to ask me this." She bit out, her eyes narrowed at me as she gave me a scalding once over.

"Well, that was just so shocking because I kind of thought you’d be like Damon. He’d rather chew grass than apologize." She snipped with an eye roll and I laughed again.
She wasn’t wrong. That was just Damon. He hated apologizing and almost never does it.
"We might be triplets, but we have different personalities." I pointed out and she hummed, looking me over again, with less scorn in her eyes this time.
"I can definitely see that." She murmured and I hummed as I tugged her closer to me. She stiffened as her chest pressed into mine and she bit on her bottom lip before peering up at me, and the look on her face tugged at something primal within me before she cleared her throat and tried to pull away, but I tightened my hold on her waist.
