The plane had landed and they had to part ways. Drey and Lana headed first...
Jeru proceeded to examine all the tracking devices on Thea to make sure that they were functioning properly. He then whispered, "Just relax and you will be fine. We will pull you out of there immediately."
May could not help but tease them. She whistled and hummed before she commented, "Thea looks relaxed enough to me, while you don’t, Jeru. You’ve been looking so anxious ever since we boarded the plane. And I wonder why..."
Jeru’s face reddened from embarrassment, but he ignored May’s teasing.
Keira had also noticed that something was going on between Thea and Jeru, so she let out a small chuckle before she elbowed May to warn her, "Stop it." May answered her with a shrug and walked to their assigned car.
Keira held Thea’s hands and said, "We can do this. Let’s all hang out together once everything is done."
Thea smiled and nodded. "We should go," Chin interrupted so Thea followed.
When Keira and Jeru walked to their car, Keira casually stated, "I think Thea also deserves to be happy. And you two would actually make a good pair."
"What?!" Jeru shrieked and turned to face Keira, but Keira had already run to the car while laughing.
She was really nervous, so she needed something like this to relieve her tension. But what she said was true. She really thought that Jeru and Thea looked good together.
It was already 5:00 PM. All of the guests had headed to the docks that had been assigned to them, which also served as a checkpoint where they would be searched thoroughly before they were allowed entry.
