The General Who Hates Me

Chapter 219: Live Or Die

As soon as Thea arrived and boarded the ship, Leon welcomed her with a hug as he whispered, "I heard you brought a lot of tracking devices with you, my Queen."

Thea wanted to vomit on his face, but instead she just scoffed at him, "Yeah, but then I guess I failed. I almost forgot that persistent weeds like you is hard to pull out."

Leon released her from his hug a little bit, just enough so he could see her face. He let out a cackle of laughter, "Anyway, you are just in time to witness a good show. And I have a surprise for you too. Oh, vixen, how I miss you!"

He then heedlessly pulled her in for another hug again, which disgusted her greatly. But she did not bother to resist. After feeling satisfied from squeezing her body tightly against his, Leon wrapped one of his arms around Thea’s shoulders as he pulled her towards the deck where the tournament would be held.

"I see Chin is sticking around you like a leech, huh?" Leon sneered when he saw Chin following closely behind them.

"She is the only one I got now, so if you kill her, it’s as good as killing me. I will die if she dies..." Thea stated menacingly. But it was not a threat, because she meant every word she said. Chin was like family to her since she got none of her own.

But at that instant, Jeru’s face popped up in her mind, leaving her bewildered. ’What is this? Why would I think of him suddenly?’ She shook her head to brush it off.

Leon led her to their seats, from which they had a great view of the tournament. Terror overtook her face as she saw the cage fighting ring in the center.

Her eyes were automatically scanning for Zach among the fighters and she could not help but cry when her gaze landed on him. Zach was really alive.
